What do you rank as Roy Jones best ever perfromance in a fight he won?

Roy was an amazing boxing talent with or without roids. There is tons of speculation there as well.. We don't know what he was taking as it was never proven, we don't know when he started or stopped, and to think they were responsible for how good he was without knowing that is ridiculous to me.

Regarding Jones vs. Calzaghe, I think the opposite of you, I think prime Jones was all wrong for Joe.. He had more speed, more power, better reflexes, much harder to hit clean... Joe would give him a good fight, but doesn't have the tools to do the job IMO.

 

The Toney fight is probably the right answer, but I went with the win over Hill. (Who was not over the Hill...sorry, bad joke.)

Awesome body shot. Leveling a first-rate professional with a bodyshot is extremely rare, but Jones did it.

 

I don't think steriods can make a good boxer great. If they could, Hall should have done better, because he had almost twice the ammount over the legal testosterone level than Roy and he still got thrashed.

I could have sworn it would have been higher.

I know you are having a laugh here Hans, and we both know Khan is no Jones... Jones' chin was on another level than Khan's as well.

 

Hopefully Jones fights Huck and we can see what happens. He still has a chance to win another belt.

 

We all know old man Roy has almost no chance at lasting 12 against Huck... Prime Jones I would favor though.
