Hagler vs Antuofermo I. Hagler clearly won that decision, even the ref told Hagler before they read the decision that Hagler had won it. I guess a judge puked afterwords he was so disappointed in the decision.

Its got to be Rocky Marciano vs Roland LaStarza in 1950.

The judges scored it a draw but somehow Rocky won the fight!! and it goes down as a win in the record books. It doesn't get more controversial than that

How did Marcaino end up winning then?

NYSAC had decided that draws would be broken with supplementary points system, thus Marciano won. This was s****ped soon after.

Fenech vs Nelson for me it's close though with a few others on the list

I thought at the time that, that was a terrible decision. But I watched it again last year, and had it 6/6...

Briggs 'officially' won, it was not a draw.

    Ken Norton - Scott Ledoux.

I remember this fight, and if ever Ken had a gift, this was one of them.

I thought Norton deserved the win...imo he swept most of the early rounds iirc.

Going back a way, John Conteh-Jesse Burnett was pretty shocking. Conteh, seemingly hungover, was floored twice by Burnett and looked to have been well outpointed, but Harry Gibbs (ahem!) gave him a draw.

Macklin-Sturm is a more recent one. I don't think Macklin's dominated the fight, but I can't see how you could give Felix a share of the spoils, even if your being generous. Not as bad as some on your poll though
