Love the guy hard working, improved striking and siiiicccckkkk Jiujitsu. Little disapointed hes fighting Siver who is a tough guy but IMO after Pellegrino, Stevenson and Lauzon he is a stepdown in competition.

  6. He has worked his way to a title shot. Rate him highly but I rate Franky Edgar pretty damn high aswell.

Gradually getting better and after a win or 2 more shld get a title fight. The UFC are not stupid and like Bisping he's being built up with easy opponents to garnish support from their home country people.

Melborne are due to get MMA approved there soon and the City is sports mad and George is from that town so there's a possibly they wld sell out a 40,000 stadium no probs..... I'm guessing the wheels are in motion to get George a title shot there once government approve the sport.

I think he a legit top contender and should've got a title shot by now. Would've been perfect if he was fighting for it in Australia. What I dislike most about the UFC is you have guys like Sotiropoulos and Machida who consistently proved themselves beating quality guy after quality guy and have to wait ages for a shot at the title. Yet a guy like Lesnar comes in, wins two fights after losing his first and he gets a shot. Also Jake Shields looked like **** in his first fight and arguably lost it and he gets a shot. When you get contrasts like that, easy to see it's all about hype and what sells than actual fighting.

He is the real deal. A win over Siver doesn't get him a title shot.

He is a boring old fat in interviews.

I get what you're saying here, but on the Shields situation you've got to look at his run of performances before the Kampmann fight. Yes they weren't in the UFC but there's no denying that there was a host of top level, dominant victories (Mayhem, Hendo etc).

What's not to like about George. Decent boxing and really high energy ground work and never in a boring fight. Is he the most improved fighter of the past few years?
He gone about his career the right way with his performances in recent years and gained alot of fans doing it. He'll get his shot no doubt

Excellent fighter! Love his ground game, always keeps it exciting and his stand up ain't bad either. Not sure why they have him fighting Dennis Siver though; it doesn't get him anywhere and is a step back if anything. I think he would need another fight against a top contender before he goes in for the title. He will probably have to take another fight before he gets a title shot anyway.

Was very impressed againt Stevenson where he came in as a big underdog and dominated, i started looking out for him from then, im hoping for big things for him and i think the title is within his grasp.
