    They generally have a lot of heart.
    In Brazil, it's a miracle when a fighter becomes a champ, because the lack of suport. We had only 4 world champs and only 2 of them (Jofre and Popó) could defend their titles sucessfully.

    I think they get stereotyped as brawlers with great heart, which only tells a part of the story, obviously.

    There have been great stylists to come from Latin America.

    I saw a pretty pathetic performance by an Argentine called Gustavo Kapusi on friday night.
    He didnt seem the tough as nails type at all.:lol:

    Mexico has given us Izzy Vasquez.

    For that I am forever grateful.

    It's a shame so many cubans opted to never go pro, I would've killed to see a dude like Savon on a more mainstream level.
