it's to be expected..no one stays in their prime forever. Keep in mind Floyd is 35 years old, father time is starting to creep up on him. He still has fast hands/reflexes, if somewhat diminished. He more than makes up for it with his technique and ring IQ. Everyone's making a HUGE deal about him getting tagged, it's a boxing match. Of course he's going to be hit.

In my eyes, he's still the best boxer in the world by a fair margin. Dude's ring IQ is second to none and that's what puts him over everyone else.

Mayweather looked better than ever IMO. This was his biggest win against his toughest opponent at a weight that is really higher that his body size is suited for.

Only one tougher fight out there for him now and he'd have leaped every hurdle he come to.:think

Nah.....I didn't mean that kind of hurt. It's not the same pain as he got hit by Mosley's right hook in round 2. OK? I'm not a rooky who's just watched boxing for a few years ago dude!:D

Other people don't know this though. He chose to fight off of the ropes. He could've outboxed Miguel Cotto with 1 arm tied behind his back.

I think Floyd was good enough after the Cotto fight to whip CJ Watson (the erratic backup PG for the Bulls who dated his psycho ex), replace him on the Bulls, and not stink up the joint in Philadelphia

    Fighting @ 154
Against great fighter that people believe is shot because he's lost:lol: Cotto is always competitive

If he were more active & just stayed @ 147 he would look much sharper, but still A plus fighter

Clearly on the decline. Not one leaping left hook iirc. His bread and butter shot along with his lead right hand which requies a lot of foot speed, hand speed, and reflexes. He fights primarily flat footed for a reason. If he keeps on fighting these young lions, he'll eventually lose and pretty soon, not years down the road.
