Bruno had a good chin, Its just that the presure would get to him later in a fight, it would drain him and then he'd get caught flush and whilst the resistance was there it would sap him of everything he had left. Only good fighters stopped him.

It's not a language issue, or even that he doesn't know that much. I could be patient with that. It's the assertions regarding other posters' knowledge or experience in and of the game, the infantile name calling, the lack of a cogent response when called on his statements... It erodes the conversation. I'm all for being off-color or contrary for contrary's sake, but he doesn't pull it off. It's a ****ing bore.

I've looked at some of your posts, you appear to be rather provocative at times, but allways with a reasoned kernel of logic in back of it,this
"Hors De Combat" ,what ever his name is, is off the wall.He is either knitting with only one needle, or a great wind up artist,I am betting on the former.

With all due respect, Bruno hadnt a great chin. He got KO'd or stopped by any good fighter he met. I dont think Bruno knew what to do when tagged, he wouldnt even take a knee, although in fairness he was in with some big punchers

As explained earlier, it wasn't his "chin", it was his reaction to getting tagged. A bad chin betrays you early and often. Frank was KO'd mid round and late. He froze when getting tagged and possessed less than impressive stamina. The conditions are different tho perhaps not dissimilar in that they are inveterate and unfixable.

Exactly, early on he has a decent enough chin. but when Bruno gets tired his ablilty to soak up shots, goes out the window.

His chin was ok he just didnt have natural fighting ability. I mean that he would freeze up after getting sparked, often dropping his hands. Compare his reaction to someone like Nigel Benn whose first reaction when hurt is to fire back. Along with his stamina I think this was Bruno's biggest shortcoming. He would have been a beast if he actually liked fighting but he always looked stiff and nervous in a ring.

His chin has let him down in every major fight he was in. His chin sucks or ability to take a punch, thats the bottom line.

Not really. If you were in the opposite corner from these two different type of fighters you would prepare completely differently. For a truly chinny fighter, you would look all night to set up the one punch that would derail him, to lay a trap from round one onward. For a Bruno type, you would hope to drag him into the deep waters of the late rounds and let his stamina be tested, whilst being very careful during the opening sets due his power and relative sturdiness in those frames.

Whats the difference. Its his ability to take a shot which is generalized to his chin, and Brunos let him down always.

I wouldnt call the two Tyson fights and Lewis fight deep waters. You just had to hit him cleanly and he froze on his feet. Lewis and Tyson were just better fighters than Smith and Spoon thats why they got him quicker.

his chin wasnt as bad as some people make out he was never knocked out or even dropped with a single shot but he had poor stamina .
