1. This time he knows he can beat him. Regardless of how confident Floyd was before the fight, I always felt he thought Manny was his biggest threat. So the fear/unknown factor should now be gone. 2. The fight was far and away his biggest payday. He'd likely make great money fighting Khan, but still think another fight with Manny would give him more. 3. If Manny's shoulder injury is legit, it could keep him out beyond September. So that would rule a rematch out. However, if it's something that can heal with rest and physio in a month or two, it means Manny is available for September. 4. After six years of talk, hype and build-up, do you think Floyd is tired of Pacquiao and just wants that fight to settle their rivalry? All in all, I don't think a rematch (in September anyway) looks likely.
Not going to happen. I don't think the networks want it, the public don't want it and Floyd doesn't want it.
