What do you think Hayes true private confidence level is to beat Wlad Klitschko ?

I guess the other argument to that would be.......

Applying pressure dictates you take risks, only Haye doesn't have a great chin himself, and Wlad can punch.

Peter and Brewster took a lot of punishment in their fights with Wlad.

 

in the first Peter fight, Peter had him over 3 times, but Wlad ground out a win, if Haye gets Wlad on the hook, game over

 

I think he will honestly be full of confidence.He will know its going to a hard night but I dont think a guy like him would take the fight if he did not fully believe he was going to win.

 

I'll be cynical and say he knows he'll probably lose. I remember when he punched that cardboard cut out of Valuev and later said ''I don't mind making a fool of myself for £5m'' Same applies here.

 

I don't think many top level sportsmen really think they are going to lose, part of what makes them successful is the confidence and mental strength

I think Haye thinks he'll win but knows it'll be tough.

David obviously thinks he can win. David has talked himself into this fight and cut himself a good deal but knows that he would look like a joke if he just got knocked out.

But David knows his own flaws. He often talks about the Thompson fight and has been down before in a big fight.

David & Adam are very realistic and know that they can potentially win this big fight using David's strengths.

But they obviously are aware that David cannot take flush shots at any point during the bout. This is why I wouldn't chose the follwing option: He is going to beat Wlad - but it might be tough.

There won't be a "tough fight" like how Lewis vs Vitali was tough because David couldn't stand up under that kind of punching.

 

Fraud's biggest problem is his self doubt imo.

 

I fear you're right, I just can't seem to get excited for this one, I'm interested for sure, but not excited.

Hopefully they'll prove different to Mosley, McCloskey, Abraham etc and actually back-up their words and give us all a ****in' fight to watch :good

 

True To a point but when he's confident, got his man beat, he will. Can't remember who he iced in the last round lately when steward was imploring him to finish the job... was that not just a huge right?

Anyway, point stands, if haye can negate the jab early on wlads whole strategy becomes shaky. Haye needs to move. You can't stand in front of a guy with that jab and reach trying to slip the jabs. Once the rhythm kicks in you're doomed.
