    I think HBO has said a lot of things to Lou Di Bella over the years.

    To let them feed Macklin to Golovkin otherwise Macklin gets no more HBO dates.

    Honestly Macklin was going around telling everyone he had an HBO date, but against who? They weren't just going to let him fight a midlevel guy just to build him up.
