Well they catch more people than in any other sport but boxing will never have as many tests as cycling does it just isnt possible, take the US as an example every state has his own boxing comission and every comission has its own rules, something that is illegal in one state is legal in another and then if you consider all the different countries in the world you will see that it will be very hard to implement those kind of tests,i bet that in most third world countries they dont even test urine now.
That would be great if commissions began to introduce it. Fighters however should not be making demands for such things. Mayweather's camp is directly calling Manny a cheat and with no proof other than his improvements in the ring (ignorant speculation) that is simply not on. Any request beyond the testing of the state commission is not in anyway reasonable, its essentially defamation inspired by Mayweather Sr. It would essentially be like Roach coming out and saying he knows Mayweather is on steroids, because a fighter couldn't be that sharp after a 2 year break, and then demanding additional testing conditions. A big ****ing insult.
3 blood samples at the dates the OP proposed are reasonable just tell the Pacman there won't be a test two weeks before the fight.
1 no. blood test taken at a random point, no less than 7 days prior to the fight with 24 hours notice given, to be taken at the fighters gym by an independent. This is applicable to both fighters. Urine test to be carried out in accordance with the Nevada State Commisions regular practise. Another blood test directly after the fight may or may not be a requirement.
hmm..I think to get everything out the way they should add one test 2 days before the fight ..this would eliminate all doubt...juss read on the scene that they may go through some NFL, MLB, or NBA officials to do the tests!
Pac should agree to do one before the fight but the question is when? I say 4 days before the fight is enough time to regather his strength for giving a TEASPOON of blood lol
I think maybe the Pac camp should allow one or two random blood tests during the camp but none a week before the fight up to the fight, then another one right after the fight along with random urine tests throughout training.
