You are wrong. Hatton weighed in at 152 , Mayweather 149 and it is documented .

Mayweather rarely gets above 150 for his welter fights.

Also Floyd has simply filled out into a full welter rather than being the small welter that fought Judah.

I figured that as I'be always said that Hatton was bigger than Floyd but he just drained himself so that he could fight in a smaller weight class yet people were talking all this dumb **** about Floyd dragging Hatton up.

It's this simple guys: People saw Mayweather push around Mosley a bit, and now they are trying to add on 10 pounds because they thought he was going to "run all night."

    It is beyond ridiculous.

Yep. Hatton regulary weighed in the 150's when he was at jr WW. All Hatton had to do for the Floyd fight was cut less weight. Floyd is one of the few fighters who fights a his natural weight and doesn't dehydrate himself to make a weight class.

Exactly. They're acting as if Mosley didn't throw Mayweather wound either.

Yeah fighters have different opinions on their fighting weight.

Regardless of Hattons weigh in , he always comes in around 152 for the fight. Mayweather on the other hand for a naturally small man is extremely strong and doesnt add the pounds on like other fighters do. I also think he maybe would have a complex about coming in heavy as that can affect speed and stamina. Mayweather doesnt switch off his diet once he steps off the scales , that has to be respected.

I personally think Hatton did it wrong and the extra lbs he adds between weigh in and the ring only slow him down , but yes Hatton was the heavier man on the night , but not the stronger , and Hatton lifts weights , where as Floyd doesnt.

It is a fact that FMJ was 152lbs against Marquez. And I think he looked a bit heavier against Mosley. Mosley routinely weighs around 155 or 156 when he fights at ww, and I don't think Floyd looked any smaller than him. And Floyd looked considerably bulkier and more muscled than when he was 146-149 in his previous incarnation at ww.

On the basis of all of these points, I see no reason whatsoever for thinking Floyd was any lower than the mid 150s against Shane.

Thanks for sharing. Hatton definitely wasn't trying to fight the "smaller man's fight" that night.

I know shane came in at 160 for Margarito , so would imagine he would be similar for his other welter bouts.

Please show me a link for this fact, because so far all I've heard are people talking out of their ass about they think he weighed since HBO clearly stated they didn't get him on the scales that night.

It was clearly stated in The Ring magazine that Mayweather was 152lbs in the ring. Marquez was 146.

The ring was talking out of there ass, because as I stated earlier, Mayweather didn't step on the scales that night so the ring was just stating what they thought he weighed.

Floyd definitely looks big enough here to deal with Sergio
