Looks like haters just got doubled.. Now they can't see Bute near top 5 of the 168 lbs weight division.. :verysad My top 5 list is 1. Andre Ward 2. Carl Froch 3 - 5 (not in any order) Mikkel Kessler, Andre Direll, and Lucian Bute I don't know about all of the haters saying he's done.. He can still beat world champions like Robert Stieglitz.. Its not because he lost to Froch, he would lose to the guys who beat Froch like Kessler and Ward.. (But I admit the possibility that he beats Ward dropped lower than Sergio's.. ) That's not how boxing is done.. :nono That loss is a good learning experience for Bute.. He'll just have to bounce back and come back strong.. Like what great boxers did after their first loss..:bbb:bbb
Kessler would kill him, he is nowhere near the elite in the division, Froch destroyed him and Ward would retire him.
Overrated protected bum. Kessler would knock him out and ward would beat him worse than pbf beat gatti.
It was one of the biggest examples of smoke and mirrors in boxing in the last 20 years. He's far from a bum,he's a very efficient southpaw but he was a deer in the headlights last night. Horribly out of his depth and his loyal fans deserved so much more.
Both the calls for a rematch and for him to retire are ridiculous. Go back to Canda for a few confidence builders and give it another attempt at the top level again, working on his defence in the gym as he does so.
I don't think that would help his career.. I mean, he should get over first with his first KO loss.. Make some confidence-builder fights first.. 2 or 3 fights will do.. :deal
Bute needs to avoid hard punching pressure fighters. He needs to improve his defence dramatically. He falls for every feint, if the first punch doesn't get him, the second will. He needs to be able to completely control the fight with distance and footwork against the likes of Froch. He'd have more success against Ward but I think Ward is too skilled and a better athlete. Ward Froch Bute Kessler Bute and Kessler are on the same level at the moment I think.
