This is called DENIAL. Bute is done, you really should stop deluding yourself and posting shitty comments.atsch
answer the question you dick head... I didn't say he was an elite yet I said Frazier beat Ali and was destroyed by Foreman like he was ****.. styles makes fight... maybe he's elite maybe not
Ok, Wlad has benefited from fighting in a generation with no depth of talent. To get back to the top he really didn't have to beat anyone of note. if Bute is going to bounce back he has to beat someone on the level of Froch, Kessler or Ward. Honestly, please tell me which fighters you think Wlad has beat who are on the same skill level as Froch, Kessler or Ward? Wlad was able to get back to the top beca
ur from montreal lol u love bute.. but wt ur doing right now is wishful thinking because the difference is.. ali, feazier, foreman were all proven fighters when they beat each other.. were as bute has not proven nothing.
I'll only judge him once I've seen what he does when he comes back. The way he lost doesn't look good but I'm willing to wait for what he does next.
yeah right I'm from Montreal so I like Bute... LOL thats ridiculous... I like Tyson too and i'm not from NY or Brooklyn or Brownsville or whatever you name it
He is a good boxer, he has the skill and boxing ability to match the elites and better than some of the elites. The poor guy just dosent have a chin and thats tough.
Bute 10 world titles defenses... how many for Frazier? lol yeah Bute fought nobody but they were mandatory challengers
People lose. Some people pick themselves up and gain better results than before. Others find that the loss is their glass ceiling. Others decline from that point, rapidly. It's boxing. Bute was a long-term alphabet belt holder and anybody that has called him a 'bum' or 'tomato-can' deserves to be shot on sight.
I thought he was a really good boxer, after losing to Froch I don't think so anymore. Bute doesn't have a good jab or a good right hand in general. He sets up up his right jab (a weak job) to land the left-cross. He has a fast left hand with good power but he's not as skilled as I thought he was, nor does he have a good chin. I think Dawson and Ward beats him.
Byrd, Actually he was better than these two.:good And the main point is fighting the best available opponent which Wlad did. He took the biggest threat out there as Young Samuel Peter to earn his shot. And you also have there huge mistake on labeling Kessler and Froch on same level with Ward.
I didn't say they was on the same level as Ward, I said he would have to beat a fight on the level of Kessler, Froch and Ward. Ward is clearly a level above Kessler and Froch - but all three are above Bute. I know all Wlad could do was fight the best available - not his fault that there was no one that great for him to fight. But that's not the main point. The main point is that you can't compare Wlad's 'comeback' to a potential Bute comeback. Bute was never 'the man' in his division. He was a guy who held a title but had never fought top opposition and had a lot of question marks over him. No one in their right mind regarded him as the division's top guy, as he had never fought the best. When he did fight one of the top guys he was annihilated. Note: But I do not think for one minute that Wlad has beat a fighter as good as Kessler in his career.
