So two guys who has stepped up from cruisersweight and light heavyweight? And we're outweighed by 30 plus pounds?
Not world class. Nowhere near. Great example of a paper champion who fought bums at home then lost spectacularly to the first top fighter he faced.
Well Froch is just a bad style for him apparently. I don't think ANYONE expected him to come out as quick as he did. Kind of like how Mayorga was a bad style for a fighter like Forrest. A tough chinned, deceptively fast guy with power will always give chinny boxers hell.
People keep mentioning the "manner" of which he was beat. Didn't a certain Amir Khan lose against an unknown Colombian in 60 seconds in the first round. That was a SHOCKING knockout. Yet he came back, bigger and stronger than before and won a world title. Bute will come again, he needs to look at what went wrong. In this case against Froch he got caught and LET Froch come on to him on the ropes whilst he looked for the counter. He fought a naive fight against a tactically inspired and inform Froch who was fighting the best fight he has ever fought. Bute will come again, i still think Ward wouldn't hurt Bute and Bute could win a few rounds against him. Bute is no bum, but hadn't been in with elite fighters. Froch had, and knew what to do.
Its a good learning experience for him.. :deal You could learn a lot from your first KO loss.. Think about, why did Bute get knocked-out.. :think Is it because Froch hits hard? Or Bute can't take a punch? Either way, its just all about his defense.. He must work on it.. :smoke
