Shockingly, this thread is in it's right place in the general: Australian puncher Brad Pitt knocked out fellow KO artist Victor Oganov in the 5th, I **** you not! http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=510865&cat=boxer So what do we have to know about Mr. Pitt?
Honestly, his complete flattening of Daniel Ammann impresses me more than a TKO win over an old blown up Oganov. Ammann is a tricky guy, and had only previously been stopped once in 28 bouts (curiously, also getting KTFO cold in the 2nd round that time at the hands of Alex Alexeev).
i like him. hes got potential, hes athletic and has good speed for a white boy. i esp like the way he leans on his back foot when he fights. cool style
The first rule about boxer Brad Pitt is no one talks about boxer Brad Pitt. The second rule about boxer Brad Pitt...
Read the Aussie thread on the fight...He was close to getting knocked out and was given a big helping hand in this fight by the ref apparently. Impressive offensively...pretty quick hands/feet and nice power..but fights with an instinctive hands down sort of style, with reflexes and defensive awareness that don't cut the mustard. Knockout waiting to happen if he doesn't get polishing.
Oganov has not been the same since Zuniga beat the living **** out of him, stopped him, and took his almighty zero. Dude was 25-0 with 25 KO's, but Zuniga beat him senseless, and made it look easy.
