Haye had only two world title fights at cruiserweight. He never fought then-IBF beltholder Cunningham, or Wlodarzyk, Adamek, and Guillermo Jones. He did fight Jean-Marc Mormeck and Enzo Maccarinelli. Mormeck was a decent win at the time, but Maccarinelli was not, despite his paper title. It's questionable whether Maccarinelli should ever have even had the WBO belt (he fought a journeyman for the vacant title) and we all know Enzo's chin isn't very good.
You could not be more wrong the viewing figures for Wlads fights should tell you all you need to know about his fan base ,Google what Tyson or Lewis Holly field use to make with pay per views, While Wlad fights on crappy free to air channels Hayes next fight with char was on sky sports :rofl
Option 2, he's pretty obviously a decent fighter. A let down at times but in some good fights too, he gets too much hate from Nazi Party klitschko fans
Adamek was a 175lb fighter when Haye won his titles at CW, and he always said he was going to move up anyway. Sort yo facts
yeah, so nothing special at all eh, if holyfield can do it Holyfield is only one of the greatest fighters of all ****ing time ****ing mong
Actually, Adamek was already at cruiserweight. He won an eliminator vrs Bell in 04/08, one month after Haye beat Enzo. So there was a worthy opponent for Haye to fight at cruiserweight and prove himself a true champ. Just like Cunningham, Wlod, and Guillermo Jones were worthy opponents. To be fair, Haye was already talking about moving to heavy in 06 and there's more money there and all. It's just silly to label Haye the #2 atg cruiserweight when his accomplishments vrs. top cruisers of his era are questionable. Arguably, Adamek scored better wins at cruiser than Haye.
He's a *****, he's a lover, he's a child, he's a mother, he's a sinner he's a saint, I do not feel ashamed.
blend of one and two Talented fighter who has been great for the HW division but has dissapointed at times
He's probably the best wind up merchant in boxing. Look at how many people claim to hate him, yet still log on to this forum to praise/***** and moan about him ON A DAILY BASIS. Not even exaggerating - daily. Haye's fought what, once since losing to Wlad 2 years ago? In that time there probably hasn't been a day gone by where obsessives like Iceman and Rico haven't posted about him. He's basically a decent but very inactive fighter with a poor HW record who understood the marketing PR side of the sport and has managed to play it so well that people continue to keep his name relevant even after not fighting for a year.
All talk, no action - if David Haye had the heart to match his talent, he would be heavyweight champion
