I do 5 minutes of shadow boxing to warm up. then 6 3 min rounds of skipping rope with a 45 second rest in between rounds then 20 mins of non stop heavy bag work and then 3-4 3 minute rounds on the pads after a 2 minute rest after the heavy bag is that a good routine? id welcome any suggestions as you guys seem to know your stuff and implement your tips.

dont believe everything you see on tv or youtube! pro trainers tend to be as little secretive with their training methods they are not going to show joe public or anyone else :nut :nut :nut

    in all fairness
he cant be a shite trainer if his fighters are winning more than they lose

Well, I don't know... Joe C's stamina is pretty damn impressive for a man in his late thirties, so he must be doing something right. Of course if Joe and Enzo's (they still go running together) stamina is largely genetic it could explain why he has less than perfect techniques for training other fighters.
There is more to being a coach than techniques and fitness however, particularly if you are the figurehead of the gym (well the whole town as far as boxing goes). Enzo's strong personality and sense of confidence will filter down to his fighters, they know that he is one rock that will never crumble, giving them stability. Especially important for young fighters.

I know that boxing isn't a bodybuilding contest, but I was curious as to why NONE of his fighters have good physiques...NONE of them are ripped, all seem to have a little flab, (except maybe Joe).

    Just seems strange.

Also, Gavin Rees should NOT be at 140, not in a million years. I bet he could make 130, easily.

i know that football is a completely different sport form boxing but warm up are becoming less and less important in football with many premiership football clubs simply playing intense mini games before a match ... and while boxing is about building peaks no tapering seems very strange,if they were as active as an amateur maybe it would be good but not so much in the professional levels, although i must say enzo's fitness training looks seconf to none, and resistance bands are certainly not a waste of time, they are an excellent way to build strength speed and timing if doine right.
