What do you think of Hatton now?

Not really no. Doesn't relly change my opinion on him.

Pac blasted him in 2 rounds. Cotto lasted till the 12th. Hatton cannot now operate at 140 surely, so he'd have to fight at 147

Accomodating for the fight last night not taking everything Cotto has left it means Cotto, Mosely, Floyd, Pac, Clottey, Berto and Margarito are all operating there and could all finish him. Anything below this class of opponent and its not worth him coming back

 

Nah, still think his best days are behind him. He should retire.

Hatton is not shot. Put him in with an elite fighter at any time of his career and he will be stopped brutally.

 

Cotto at least won some parts of the fight. His timing, jab and defence were excellent early. He got caught when he tried to open up - unlike Hatton who just got caught every time he threw anything.

Would love to see him v Khan sorted out. One last finale for the Hitman at Wembley - big payday and bow out on a high, regardless of the result.

 

His punch resistance is defo gone, hasn't been the same since the Collazo fight. That took a lot out of him

I really hope Ricky gets the respect he deserves when he finally does retire. I hope people realise what they have lost and appreciate him for the very good boxer and fantastic fighter he has been. It has been a privilege to have a British boxer like Hatton and we should be proud and grateful, instead of doing the British thing of jealously trying to punch holes into anything popular

 

That ridiculous and I find it sad a fellow Brit would say that. Never that good? Maybe not in an ATG sense but in his time he was an exciting fighter who fought some of the greats like Mayweather and Pacquiao and came off second best. I'll remember his terrific wins against Tszyu, Castillo and Malignaggi and I hope he stays retired.

 

He should retire, to people who know their stuff his record stands on its own merits. A very good fighter but not a great one.

 

he was taken apart savagely by both those individuals didnt even look remotely competitive, he fell short by a huge margin, and as for my lack of support for a fellow brit i actually have allot of respect for JC unlike many on here

 

I think he gt pretty lucky by getting KO'd like that so quick. Taking a beating for 12 rounds like Cotto did would be much more damaging. I think he can still come back and beat some B+ level guys and end his career on a high note.
