People compare it to the Pacquaio fight and it's so simple.

Marquez is a fighter who punishes fighters who makes mistakes.

Mayweather doesn't make mistakes. = Marquez is mute

Pacquaio makes mistakes. = Marquez has oppertunitys to be Marquez.

His conditioning was fine imo. He didn't fade during the last two rounds like he did for his pacquiao fight. It had to do with age.

He landed a few looping rights. Mayweather has a great defense but he hasn't ever completely mastered neutralizing that punch.

I seen people wrongfully say he didn't show heart or stopped trying. bull****

It has absolutely no bearing on my opinion of Juan.
It has as much bearing on the grand scheme of things as Barrera-Khan.

I noticed the head lift thing too but couldn't ever figure out why it happens. Tucking your chin is one of the very first things they teach in boxing gyms

    Marquez is a counterpuncher.

    Mayweather is a counterpuncher.

Boring ass fight (Rigondeaux-Ramos, anyone?) unless one of them becomes the aggressor. Marquez had the nutsuck to do the chasing.

Mayweather also over reaches with punches on rare occasion, but Marquez lacked the speed or length to take advantage of that. (Unlike Mosley)

It was as good as it could be fighting a much bigger man who is also a counter puncher ..

Marquez's conditioning was better in the Pacquiao fight. Mainly because he had Memo in his corner. Who is Memo?

Memo's the second biggest name in the Balco scandal.

Memo changed his name, but was exposed by Victor Conte.

Memo is a former PED user.

Memo is on film explaining how he has created 20+ PEDs that are undetectable.

Marquez has kept Memo around, and is now destroying sparring partners for the Fedchenko fight.

I agree he does lift his head at times. He does not give you great opportunities to punch with him though.

I kind of disagree man. All fighters can be prone to reaching but I think this is one of the departments Floyd is strongest in.

Trust me, I've tried to find holes in Mayweather's game so many times

On rare occasion (Very, very rare,) he punches and over extends. thing is, he adapts so quickly it's unreal, he'll either dip and pivot, or take a step in the required direction.

Bogatozo and me sat down a while back and tried to come up with how to fight him, think between both of us we only got about a page of stuff that might work.
