But you have big names like Canelo in the US able to draw big numbers and you have Youtubers and old fighters making comebacks in exhibitions generating loads of money on PPV. I think there's still enough interest from sports fans in the US, in boxing, it's just a lack of fighters with the right combination of ability, fan friendly style and rivals to grab the interest of casual sports fan. Fighters in the US also seem too risk adverse these days and that doesn't really capture the imagination of the sports fans.
Clearly the best 130lber, he will 12-0 Valdez Beats the brakes off Haney/Ryan/Kambosos Interested to see how he would do against Tank/Loma
Good young fighter with solid skills. He’s still improving and I think will be a top American fighter. Needs more fights but I like what I see.
Stevenson is an excellent young fighter, and if he continues to refine his ability to transition from defense (where he's superb) to offense (where he's improving) and begin to really punish opponents for missing shots, he'll be a handful at 135lbs as well. Presently, only his toughness/ability to overcome adversity and his chin remain question marks. It's doubtful that he will ever evolve into a heavy handed fighter.
P4P potential, still a work in progress in some respects. Also, there's no such thing as a weight bully.
He's actually got quite an impressive resume so far, really. Diaz and Gonzalez are decent enough pair of guys - as seen in subsequent fights with Navarrete - and obviously last night showed Jeremiah can be a real handful. Actually, I seem to remember a few people picking Jeremiah to be quite a handful for Shakur. Obviously you've got Herring too, which is a very good win; and shortly, he'll probably have Valdez. The kid's got a decent little record so far, and he seems to be very ambitious. A refreshing change from all the other bitches around that weight.
This Once he stated ro eat his 3 meals a day and take his 'supplements' he was able to go up to his normal weight classes
