running 6 times a week early in the morning (2.5 miles with hills) Going gym 3 times a week (mon, wed, fri) doing basic boxing workout + basic conditioning circuit On the days when I'm not going to gym, I do strength training which is 10 pullups, 10 chinups and 10 dips right after my roadwork in the morning (I allow 5-10 minutes to cool down though). After having rest,I do pushups during the day. 5 sets of 20 different kinds of pushups starting with normal, clap, wide, fingertip, diamond and finish off with slow pushups. I have been told I am strong enough already so my main concern is stamina and endurance at the moment but I wouldn't mind doing more sets. What I'm worried about is that I might be over doing it. Please note that I'm not a complete beginner so I'm in a decent shape at the moment, I will improve my running soon by adding sprints and intervals. If there's anything you want to add to the strength training part, please do. Thanks.
KraLLs back. I thought you were dead or something. Have you had an amateur fight yet? Are you the same person I'm thinking of? You are a bit of a rude boy right? i am believer of running at roughly the time you will fight. this way, you've also got 100% energy for your boxing session.
run less amount of times and increase the miles, so your doing 3 times a week of 4 miles with sprints inbetween
well, your boxing..are you doing skill work? mitt work is very important, are you sparring yet? how about practing your defense with basic, jab slip, jab block type routines with a partner who you know wont be a ass....
