This was the original date for Pacquiao until he changed it, but this is how the Top Rank card is shaping up for that night- Lara vs Maritosyan is already confirmed. Word is Orlando Salido vs Mikey Garcia will be moved to that date as HBO are showing Golden Boys Adrien Broner fight. Hernan Marquez vs Brian Viliora And Roman Gonzalez vs TBA (rumored to be a unification fight with Donnie Nietes) has been moved to Nov 10th, they are at a different locations currently but both promoted by Top Rank :huh So I'd expect to see them to get moved to the same card. It seems more of a hardcore fans dream than a PPV card though, perhaps they will also try and get Bradley on the card but against who? Also fighting that night is Wlad vs Wach but nobody cares about that. However another intresting card is on Showtime which will be- Abner Mares vs Anselmo Moreno with an undercard featuring Chris Arrebola, Gary Russell Jr and Alfredo Angulo. :bbb
Depends who the opponents are though, Salido-Garcia and Vilora-Marquez could well be FOTY canditates. If Arrebola, Angulo and Russell Jr are in with bums then not really. The HBO fights are all competitive on paper (if it is Nietes Gonzalez is fighting)
If all those fights go through, it is going to be another epic fight night. It's about damn time Arum puts on a good card. His undercards usually suck ass.
mares vs moreno with angulo, arreola and russel jr on the undercard will always be better than anything that top rank can put together on that date.
Russell and Arreola won't fight anyone decent. Mares/Moreno is a really good fight though. But Salido/Garcia, Viloria/Marquez, Lara/Martirosyan and Gonzalez/TBA is a stacked card. I'm guessing this will be one of those independent Top Rank PPVs?
I'm not seeing anything on Boxrec about Viloria/Marquez or Gonzalez/TBA. Where did this info on these additions come from, any idea?
