I think he's going to get in another tune up, when he's comfortable with where he is training, and try for a JuanMa rematch, although I don't think he can win or should go for that fight in general. Thoughts?
Just like most fighters do at this stage unfortunately. The body can only take so much. But if he is going to continue is career, hopefully he will only fight while fully healthy and healed. I hope he did well with the money he has earned throughout his career.
Yeah. He had enough good moments against Lopez that knowing his mentality, he probably does think he could come back and beat him (but I agree that given all the wars he's been through it's probably a bad idea). Bernabe Concepcion would be a better guy to go after to get himself a nice win and look impressive. A really limited slugger who he can pick apart with his technically superior offense, and who isn't that much of a threat to hurt him (Concepcion's power is overrated and he's nowhere near as dangerous as JuanMa)
