What do you think the true reason behind Smith coming in so heavy is?

He'll be known as a journey man now before any of his other achievements

 

Tactical stupid mistake imo

 

Smith knew what he was in for and his trainer didn't give a sh*t either.They both where there for a payday-that simple.Eddie ought to drop the c level fighter now or tell him to retire.

 

Let’s be brutally honest. His best career win is against British level Tony Dodson. He was completely outclassed by relative novices in both DeGale and Groves and was knocked out in both. He has benefitted from being someone from Liverpool with a bit of a fan base behind him. It’s the only reason he got the Abraham fight. He’s a British level fighter, no more.

Last week was a complete and utter disgrace. But was anyone truly surprised? He’s boxed at SMW when it’s clear to anyone that were he more dedicated he’d have easily made MW.

It simply cannot have been tactical. How is entering a ring looking flabby, slow and uninterested a tactic?

I hope he’s used as cannon fodder for Martin Murray to get his SMW career up and running.

 

Smith has a decent dig and with the extra weight thought he may have a chance of the KO.
