    He could of made $20 million for a DLH rematch or a Cotto fight but left them both.

    Since everyone seems to believe money is the answer. Then why didnt Floyd fight the
    fights that made him the MOST money for his comeback?

    He said he was coming back to steal more money from the fans. A farce of a fight against Marquez where he made sure he couldn't lose and not caring how it made him look, then retiring again to avoid Pac after the only test he took against 38 year old Mosley and not caring how it made him..I believe him

    Before Mayweather Hatton Mayweather said he didn't love boxing anymore and felt that he accomplished everything he wanted to, well at least i recall him saying that around that time.

    He simply just got the hunger back being out of the game. He wanted to reclaim that glory and hell who wouldnt want another few hundred million dollars

    I agree. Nothing would sell more than Pacquiao/Mayweather but he got picky and wanted too much things to go his way. Not a trait for someone who "needed money" imo.

    Well, I'll point out that Mayweather came back and fought Marquez and made a pretty good pay day, and then fought Mosley and made a pretty good pay day. I think you argued my point for me.

    I mean, whenever he fights he's gonna make money, no matter who the opponent is... And has he talked retirement since he came back?

    I said it when he "retired," I'm saying it again now. It was never a serious retirement.
