Robert Helenius is to Adam Kownacki what Oleg Maskaev was to Hasim Rahman.

    Helenius is his kryptonite.

But that doesn't mean he can't beat some other fighters. He should not retire, he should get into better shape and then have a couple of warm-ups against journeymen.

Unless he learns how to box he should just retire. No need to take the punishment he will take if he continues on as is.

I'm just gonna say I don't think it's a coincidence that this guy was an unstoppable punching machine right until his best buddy miller got caught juicing again and then he starts losing

He's headed down the Joe Mesi path. You just can't eat shots like that without suffering long-term damage. He probably can make decent money for another year or two, but I think it's unlikely he'll make enough to be able to retire from working. Not even close. So he has to decide whether it's worth it.

As of now, I could see him getting fed to up and coming HWs trying to break into the NYC scene. So if Jalolov came over or something, AK would be a logical matchup for him. Whether that's a good idea for AK, well. ...

    I expect he is done.

I actually got him wrong...After the Martin fight, I thought he would be big. They would sell him as kind of a George Foreman fat guy who does not need to be a body beautiful. He would come in with the big belly, throw 70 punches a round, and be marketable.

They didn't know Helenius had anything left.

At a 202lb catchweight; Kownacki will be as weak as a kitten after he is unable to eat six burgers for breakfast.

He'll always regret not taking the Joshua fight when Miller was caught juicing. Not that he would've won, I don't see him doing to Joshua what Ruiz was able to do, but that's a multi-million payday he'll never get.

Depends whether Sugar Robert Helenius will ever give him his soul back.

He could still be a gatekeeper type, kind of a poor man's Chisora. The safest thing for his health would be to just retire, but I suppose that is true for any boxer.

WBC Open Division (80 pounds to 480 pounds), Interim, Regular, Patented, and Super. There are four more belts anyone of any size (or any gender) can compete for.

It's very unlikely he had much say in the matter. I don't think the PBC give their fighters much in the way of autonomy unfortunately.
