Ok you have an Abraham that has a tight defense and is just standing in front of you not throwing manny punches and is also not coming forward! As you have noticed abraham is doing this in every fight for 4 or 5 rounds he is just studying what is the other fighter doing and letting the the other fighter get tired so he has more breath in the later rounds where he can go after you! Most of the fighters abraham has faced fall for that and were trying to knock him out early and win the rounds as impressive as possible! Then in the later rounds abraham drops finally his guard sometimes and goes to war with you and knocks you out in good fashion after you are toatlly exhausted! Since we know taylor (stamina)+ later rounds +pressure is bad for him what do you think will taylor trying to do in the early rounds?
I think he will do the same mistake as the other opponents and the same fault he did against Froch, Pavlik... AA will not throw many in the first rounds... but nevertheless he will hit him and then JT's fightplan will fly out of the window... he will exchange to much instead of going on his bike.. he will be worn down and finally Ko'd P.S. JT is my favorite american fighter around the midweights...
I won't pretend to know what either man's fight plan will be. However, I will ask you take note of the fact that this is JERMAIN Taylor, not shannon taylor! Shannon Taylor came off a TKO loss to Raymond Joval straight into a title fight with AA, and went the distance. So, this common assumption that AA will knock JT out is more than a bit arrogant.
In my opinion, JT's only downfall is the oldschool balls to the wall every minute of every ****ing round mentality, that I'm guessing he was trained with. He engages everytime even when gassed. A true badass, but fuk it we need a new undisputed JT.
JT will not fall for the banana in the tail pipe and pretty much just keep his jab pumping and win the fight with that.I think fighting Froch and Pavlik will help him deal with a lesser pressure foe like Abraham. Abraham is not a good fighter being the aggressor and JT can beat him from the outside easy. AA has a punchers chance on top of he is a counter puncher. But it is not easy to counter JT.
I would love to see JT win but i don't think it's in the cards:-( he always starts strong , but fades in the end.. The fights in Germany not a good place for American fighters, to expect a fair shake...:-( AA late KO OR POINTS WIN..
Taylor throw hard and very accurate punches and he does it better than anyone AA has ever faced before. I could see him hurting AA and i think he should go for the KO and he should do it early while he has power and stamina. I just don“t see him winning a desicion in Germany.
I picking also taylor but it depends how will he do in the first rounds! Will he get too excited and smash abraham from corner to corner but with no effect on AA!? Or will he be clever and rely on his beautiful jab and just do enough to win the early rounds but be prepared for the AA storm in the later rounds and having enough energy to do damage to abraham!
I had a dream about this fight awhile back. Jermain came out and his corner crew was Bernard Hopkins, Winky Wright, and Kelly Pavlik! Bernard, Kelly, and Winky stood on the ring apron hootin', hollerin', and drinkin' beer while JT beat the crap out of Abraham! Unfortunately I woke up before the fight ended!
Remember, JT will fight just as slow as AA if given the chance. AA has to change up and be the aggressor and that is not his style or his liking.
