What do you think your favorite boxer had to do to be considered the "BEST" ever?

Personally, i think a Dark, Hollow Cold Eyed, motivated and pissed DurĂ¡n transformed into the Raging Bull would be more dangerous than Hearns at Jr Md

In my view, nothing. He was, and still is, the GOAT! The Brown Bomber, Joseph Louis Barrow!

I suppose, in other peoples' views, he could have beaten Max Schmeling the first time, then, later, Ezzard Charles, then, later still, Rocky Marciano, before retiring. But then he would suffer from the Marciano "Undefeated-itis Disease" that plagues Rocky to this day, so I will take the Joe Louis career as it was, and still consider him The GOAT Heavyweight.

WW2 interrupting Louis reign wouldn't that be something from a Louis fan?

It would be the find of the Century, he was the classiest boxer that ever lived , to never suffer a cut eye from 250 fighters in 11 years that threw well over 10,000 punches with 6 ounce gloves and not be cut, proves how Great of a boxer he was. Did you also know, that more than 80% of his opponents got cut. The few that got knock out early may have not suffered a cut eye. All the fighters who were TKO 'd were badly cut.
