you'e basing this offa GGG's KO of Geale, a second rater who basically has no power... Canelo, Lara, even Cotto at this stage are completely different animals from anything GGG has ever seen. And pls don't compare curtis stevens to anybody above the club fighter level.

No, thats where you are wrong. I would have said the same thing yesterday or 6 months ago. Pretty sure I did actually if not with the same words.

Rather, you sound like this is the first time you have seen Golovkin or Geale fight.

I really like Canelo and big respect to him for taking hard fights, but GGG is clearly a total different level he'd destroy Alvarez inside 6

Styles make fights, and stylistically, I think it is in heavy favor on Canelo. Now if Canelo physically can handle GGG is another issue.

I agree. I think yall greatly underating Canelo. That man is a beast! Golovkin is too so I think it would be a great fight. I got Canelo by split decision. Golovkin wont go toe to toe with the red head for long. He will eventually start moving and boxing which I think he can do but i dont think the judges will give the decision to a guy against Canelo unless they outbox by him a wide margin or knock him out. I think the kid has an amazing chin enough movement to handle GGG.

Canelo grew up fighting Mexicans, his Style is ALL built around someone coming in, and heavy-handed countering the **** outta them. Very similar to JMM I feel in how he developed his style.

JMM gets smoked by Mayweather and Bradley, Beats Pac

Canelo gets smoked by Mayweather and has issues with Trout and Lara, Smokes people willing to come at him.

Really for me, the only question is, can Canelo hurt GGG.. and can Canelo withstand GGG punches. I think Canelo CAN hurt GGG, I am not sure how long Canelo can survive though against that power.

I like Alvarez, but he'd leave a bloody mess. It'd be like a 5 year old kid drawing the Red Cross sign with a spirograph.

Golovkin is NOWHERE near as quick handed as Lara.

The rest of the analysis is accurate, however.

I didn't say he was, in fact I made a point to acknowledge that Lara is much quicker but Golovkin between his excellent timing and his aggressiveness (throwing a higher quantity and more in earnest/on the front-foot) than Lara ensure that he will eventually find those same open avenues to Canelo even if not at the same connect rate that Lara did. :good

Golovkin dusts Cinnamon. GGG by KO is most like the outcome. Canelo fights at an ideal range for GGG to land. GGG is a better boxer with better footwork and better timing, so I think GGG will land more and avoid Canelo's shots better. I don't see a way for Canelo to win.

It's going to take a brilliant infighter to give GGG any trouble, I think.

I like Canelo in this matchup GGG has the power/footwork advantage but I'd give Canelo the edge in overall skill. It all comes down to can Nelo take his punches. People comment of Canelo's footwork but it's hard to look good vs someone who refuses to engage like Lara, GGG is there to be hit so that really won't come into play. I think the experience Alvarez has gain fighting the quality fighters in his division gives him a big edge over GGG

He hasnt looked very skilled vs any of his better comp, though was able to impose his strength on Lara and Trout to a degree. Plods, cant cut off the ring, misses by a mile, but goes to the body hard. Good luck with that vs GGG

When two elite fighters of a division square off its usually results in close fights, Trout/Lara's gameplan was to keep the action at a minimal yet vs fighters who sole purpose was to avoid being hit he still did enough damage to drop Trout and force Lara to run.

Stylewise GGG ain't finna run he going to try and take it too Canelo which is the type of fighter he likes. Canelo by punchstats is top 5 in accuracy in the sport. GGG has yet to face an elite fighter I'd pick him vs most at MW but because he hasn't faced one yet its hard to say how he does.

Then you have there infamous sparring session which if you go off accounts of people who were there both gave as good as they got. Even Gennandy is on record saying pro, ams, sparring Canelo is the best fighter he's fought. Ultimately I think if Nelo can take GGG's punch which is no given I think he wins a close SD/UD
