i've just ordered one online, so now i can use it at home and also when i go to the gym. what does it actually do for a boxer? is it worth using, does it improve any areas and if so which ones? also, does it improve your reflexes, cause that's something i'd like to work on when im not at the gym.
I don't think they're a great help too your boxing at all if i'm being completely honest..You can impress the bitches though if that helps at all
Yeh it's more of an aesthetic thing to impress casuals and birds TBH. The least important bag in the gym without question.
Hand-eye coordination, shoulder/arm stamina, timing, etc. All things that are better worked on a floor to ceiling ball, heavy bag, skipping rope, shadow boxing, sparring and pads.
speedbag bible its a seperate skill like skipping skills but its great a new part time focus Recommend speedbag bible dvd seriously
Alan Khan I believe is his name cool guy sent me an autograph book texas dude watch him hit the bag to music what a guy. not a boxer but the speed bag master as for boxing its a good reflex tool look it up
I only give 1 round of my training to the speed bag. I think the double end and heavybag have far more use
haha i thought this?? iv never used one to be honest and i could be wrong but i dont think im missing out rather work on the double end bag and shadow box. :thumbsup
Id say the best benefit of it is shoulder and arm endurance but thats about it Theres only one speedball at our gym and its tucked away in the corner and never used
I'm with this guy. I'm not a pro, but i think the double end is a better alternative. I usually only use the speedbag during my break rounds, or when I'm feeling lazy
Shoulder stamina, accuracy (when using the smallest bag). Usually do two or three rounds at the end of a boxing workout.
