Does Thomas' win diminish Vitali's win or make it better, or say more about Adamek's skill? Or has Arreola slipped?
It shows how fast Adamek is progressing skill-wise in heavyweight. Fight after fight he seems to be more accurate, faster, stronger and durable. The question is how much more can he improve. If he continues to develop this way he'll be very, very good.
vitali would still easily beat adamek, even though both of them put a beating on arreola. I like adamek though he is making a nice progress and is a good addition to the boring heavyweight division.
Vitali didn't let a much smaller man into the fight at all. Adamek's a much smaller man that Arreola and lost a few rounds. But considering his size and power disadvantages, it's a ****ing goof performance. It doesn't reflect in Vitali in any way other than to say that Arreola's just limited and out-of-shape.
Arreola is such a dissapointment because he could be a major factor in the division, but just like Fat Sam he is eating his way out of title contention. Though I did here that Fat Sam has dropped some weight and is back around where he was when he fought Wladimir.
It's says nothing at all. Adamek is a fine addition. This has been on a tear since the Dawson fight. I think today's Adamek stops Dawson or gives him hell. If he can continue to adapt to his new HW size he could be very dangerous.
Adamek and Vitali are levels above Arreola. If I remember right Arreola didn't win a single round against Vitali and Arreola couldn't beat the clearly smaller Adamek. Adamek was just too quick for fat Arreola.
I think it made Vitali look better. Adamek lost 3 rounds and took some big shots against Arreola, and was probably hurt once or twice regardless of what he said after the fight- 'NEVER!'. Vitali was never really in trouble and made it look easy winning every round Saying that, Vitali is great against sluggers like Arreola- and for Adamek last night was a bad style matchup. Adamek was clearly the better fighter going in but a lot of people tipped Arreola to win by stoppage (me included) Fantastic fight, I thoroughly enjoyed it :thumbsup
Arreola was competitive with Adamek, and likely won four rounds, plus had his share of moments in some rounds he did not win. Arreola was shut out vs. Vitali, and lost every segment of every round, and was stopped. It seemed like Arreola has more gusto before Vitali TKO'd him. I think Adamek should be viewed as a top 7ish heavyweight now.
Tomasz really outboxed Arreola with combinations to both body and head. I think Adamek has a very very realistic shot of knocking David Haye out cold.
