Both of their fights have been extremely close, so its hard to say who has been the better man in their meetings.

Of course Pacquiao has become the biggest name in the game while Marquez has maintain his consistency in fighting and winning against good opposition, of course for the exception of Mayweather.

We all know that Pacquiao has more to loose in this fight than Marquez.

But to you personally what does it do for Pacquiao and his legacy if he has an impressive win over his arch rival ?

    Let me know your opinion.

Makes the Floyd/Pac fight that much better....a bad showing and he will be labeled as battered goods and it takes luster away from his next fight with Floyd!

YES ITS GONNA HAPPEN! IT DAMN WELL BETTER!

At 147, it does about the same for Pacquiao's legacy as it did for Floyd's - virtually nothing.

Money aside, it is a complete loose-loose scenario; if Pacquiao wins in a dominating fashion then people will say the Marquez was facing a guy who is too big for him at this point in their careers - it'll be labelled a mismatch as soon as it finishes. If Pacquiao wins and even just looses a round or even 2 then people will compare that to Floyd vs JMM - not a comparison that will favour him if he looses a round. It isn't a fight where Manny can come out smelling of roses under any winning circumstance.

Depends on what JMM looks like. If he shows up looking just as sharp as ever and Manny manages to outclass him. Then I will heap praise on Pac for finally closing the book on that. But if he comes looking sluggish(which is the likely possibility thanx to the weight) and Pac barely wins a decision. Well, just go ahead and remove Pac's ass from that #1 spot.

Being as though we know how Marquez fights at a higher weight, nothing. Because of the time that has past from their last fight, nothing.

If somehow Marquez makes it very competitive, I will give props.
