Boxing is scored round by round and no round is weighted more than any other. If you win the first seven rounds 10-9 and lose the next five 9-10 you still win the fight even though you lost the championship rounds and the three preceding them.
I counted the punches and aggression level, in rounds 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12 Beterbiev landed more and was more dominant. 115 - 113 Beterbiev.
I thought beterbiev won the first time and predicted a win in the rematch In fight 2 he was winning handily but bivol turned it around and dominated and had more gears after fading in the first fight I confidently pick bivol to win a clear cut Decision easier than fight 2. I think he's got his number now. Beterbiev also has not stunned or rocked him 24 rounds
I can respect that. It's not like either fight was a blowout. I might actually have called the second one for Beterviev now that I'm thinking about it. Guess my thing is that they are well matched and nothing especially dramatic is likely to happen going forward. Would rather they bring Benavidez into it or pick some other really good 175 lbr into the mix that has something to prove. Morrel? Who else?
God I wish this trilogy didn’t happen… it’s as redundant IMO as the GGG vs Nelo rubber match, somebody fight Benivadez instead I don’t care about Bivol out pointing an even worse Artur.
Cut off the ring and get Bivol against the ropes or in the corner and let his hands go and go for the KO. He's not going to outbox Bivol over 12 rounds.
