What does Brook have to do not to be labelled a bum after the fight?

Brook hs literally no reputation to lose here, and everything to gain.

Even if he gets kO'd (as everybody expects he will) he will still be the guy walking out of the fight that can say "I have bigger bals than 90% of the MW division".

Frankly if he gets past round 4 I will give him huge credit just for that.

canelo has more than enough power to stop brooks. i didnt pick that up from studying his ko percentage, i got it from watching his fights in the context of his developing skills. canelo has been slowly learning to do many different things at elite level, but has yet to put it all together. some things he will never be great at, but even now, he is a bigger, better version of anything brooks has been in the ring with.
