All Whyte has to do is take out Wilder's trash (Ortiz). Easy pickens for the young, hungry, dangerous #2 British Empire heavy right?

Hearn & Whyte should be frothing at the mouth, sprinting to the WBC offices begging for the match against the old, washed up 45yr old with a bad heart. They'll have Wilder trapped with nowhere to go.

He has Tibbs in his corner hungry to make a name for himself and continue his families legacy
The more time goes on the better he gets

Yes, because Browne is much more dangerous than stoneage methusela Ortiz and will put the heavyweights on notice of the new sheriff in town.

@CST80 for some reason I'm guessing you too had a guilty pleasure SW phase?

I'm not sure that logic holds up. Just because Ortiz would be dispatched easily by the #1 UK HW doesn't mean you can expect the same of the country's #2 (especially when there already is a proven-in-the-ring gulf in class between them)

For instance, you'd probably favor Vasyl Lomachenko against Bandido Vargas - but that doesn't mean you'd favor the Ukraine's #2 rated super feather (some greenhorn named Viktor Slavinskyi)

It's a disgrace, no other way to put it.

It's no surprise though, just more corruption by the WBC.....To continue their pro-US agenda.

Breazeale fought a 'final eliminator', which the WBC claimed was not a 'final eliminator', and then decided after that it was in fact a 'final eliminator'.

Eric Molina is currently ranked 22nd by the WBC!
He wasn't top 10 at the time!

Whyte can jump through a dozen hoops for the WBC and he won't get any nearer an enforced mandatory spot. They'll keep moving the goalposts. Best thing from his point of view is to abandon any hope of fighting for their dogturd belt and take on Pulev for a second go round at AJ. Far more likely to happen for him, and about ten times more better paying.

So I assume being the #1 ranked heavyweight in the WBC division means nothing.

Whyte is going to fight Pulev for the IBF mandatory, which in turn will be another shot at AJ, not really sure why that's hard to follow.

Either way, Wilder/AJ will KO him regardless.

I’ve no doubt if Wilder offered terms that Dillian would accept.

Wilder will never fight Whyte no matter what! Haymon does not own Whyte and Wilder never has to defend his WBC Haymon title, WBC will do what Haymon tells them to do, which is the reason we have Brreazeale, who is owned by Haymon! Joshua knocked him out!

Whyte is AJs left overs. He was beaten by a shopworn Chisora and struggled with a prehistoric Hellenius.

Sure his ranking is high, but if AJ Wilder can be made as a unification then make it.

Based on Whyte brutal KO loss to AJ and narrow UD loss to Chisora, he is not in the conversation to determine the number 1. In truth he sits somewhere just outside of the top 7.

He also wanted to give Wilder a truck load of money for his trouble. Don't forget that!
