    IF it's official of course!
I'm a Froch fan.I know after the Ward fight,Bute fans have good reason to be confident.
But I still believe Froch has one big performance in him.I certainly think he can make this one much closer at least.
I know I'm wide open for sarcastic reples here. Can't complain about something I've been guilty of myself.
Not quite sure of my own armchair gameplan yet,had several ideas about fighting Bute before the Ward fight, but after that, and watching a bit more of Bute,I need a rethink.
All replies (even the naughty ones) are appreciated...

i don't see froch outboxing him so i think he needs to hope he can land some good power punches and maybe get bute off his gameplan. i'll let the ESB "Experts" take this one. i'm curious what they have to say.

He needs to take risks, Bootay is a far better boxer but has a suspect chin.

The only way I can see him winning is to go full-on caveman, drag Bootay into the trenches & make it a war.

Even then I think he'll probably get smashed up, no shame in going out on your shield as long as you gave it 100%

Just fighting at home will give him a boost from the crowd's energy. Then, we all know that sometimes judges get influenced by the crowd's cheers even when punches don't seem to be effective. That's for fighting home which definitely helps right off the bat.

Boxing wise, he may need to lure Bute into a war ala Jean Pascal fight like back then... It's matter of taking Bute out of his game and more importantly his comfort zone.

His biggest priority will be to disrupt Bute's sense of distance, as Bute is quite good to find the perfect range to land his own without putting himself at risk in return, unless he tries to lure the other guy in to place his hooks and uppercuts.

Basically, Froch has more chances to pull it off if it's a high tempo fight where Bute doesn't have time to set his own tempo while controlling the distance.

Bute may very well stop Froch. But Froch is far and away the best fighter Bute has faced (GJ is past his expiration date). If Brian Magee gave Bute a very tough fight, Froch could beat his ass. Hopefully, this fight actually happens.

It is England. He needs to stay on his feet, and not get hurt too bad from all these huge lefts he will be taking. Be the one dictating the fight from the first round, and pull out a decision.

He will get stopped though late, imo.

Land a pawing, range finder jab on Bute's wet toilet paper Chin, I'd imagine.

The worst scenario is: Bute twist his knee just like Tyson against Williams and lose the fight and never recover totally and retire
