Bute has a good jab but can get lazy with it, when he commits to throwing it he can triple it up with exceptional ease it seems, Chad Dawson is another with similar multi jab fluidity.

I think he has an exceptional jab,but Little Pea(Bute fan) said it's not that great.
    Looked pretty solid to me.

All Froch needs to do is turn up focused and fit and he will win the fight.

I cannot believe how people are making Bute out to be some great fighter.

Like I said it is good but can get lazy, Other points are that it's very compact and not a reaching jab like Khan for example. He brings it back to his waist also, which of course is a big big mistake, especially against a fast handed world class fighter.

I know it's not a hurtin jab,but it does look like a good scoring weapon when he doubles and triples up.

Simply put Froch will have problems with Bute as he likes to hit and retreat

If Froch comes forward all night he could find himself hitting fresh air a lot and getting countered to death

I'm 100% going to this fight though I would love Froch pull off a huge win here

    What's the capacity?
Is it the Trent Arena it's called?

he needs to put the hurt on Bute early on and then step up the gas in the later rounds when Froch is strong and Bute is weak. Froch has an amazing tank - even against Ward he won the last 2 rounds for me.

I favor Bute to win, but could see Froch J.Tayloring him.

I have to say,I worried that Carl got very old against Ward and on paper, his style is wrong for beating Bute.
But he has the indomnitable spirit that means you don't/can't write him off.

It is too late IMO, Froch using the left as a cross over is more of a habbit than a mistake, and they're much harder to rectify. (Kid in my gym, everytime he jabs he drops his other hand  Says he's been doing it for two years that way so I'll need to scream at him for another six months to fix it.)

Bute's jab is fluid, sharp, accurate and compact (like PostBox says) it's a much better wepon when he doubles and triples it up, I think in terms of single jabs Froch may have the advantage, but he doesn't have the variation that Bute does.

Froch must walk him down and fight for 12 rounds like Andrade did, if he can get to Bute's fragile mandible towards the end, then it's all over :deal
