What does Froch recent kayo tell us about Kesslers chin?

    Kessler took the same bombs that made Lucian fold up and walk to a corner, and Kessler just smiled at Froch and trucked towards him.

    Kessler a G, he may be robotic, but he a robotic G. :lol:

    That Allan Green would have stopped Lucian Bute in the first round.

    not just kessler chin

    glen jhonson took that **** all night
    jermain taylor took it for 12 rds.
    andre dirrell took it for 12 rds
    jean pascal took it for 12rds
    arthur abraham too it for 12 rds.

    few others took it as well. so i dont see it as kessler having a super chin but bootay having a weak chin.we all know carl can crack but its not one punch ko power so if you have a decent chin and heart you can take it.bootay showed neither to me !

    allen green had kessler shook up and that was his last fight which counts more then an older fight !

    You're right, they did take it.

    Pascal and Kessler went to war with Froch, you can say Taylor did too.
    And they took the same type of punches that made Bute fold.

    Props to all those guys, do you think its a thing where they have iron whiskers, or Froch just pummeling a weak chinned fighter in Bute?

    What we already knew, and that is that Kessler is an Iron Chinned Warrior as is Froch. Sadly, there are too few of their ilk in Boxing today.

    Mr.Magic, I dont know about Dirrel honestly but all the rest did took some bombs from Carl F. Did you saw Dirrel taking flush shot from Froch? Froch did catch him with something but a good shot?:think

    No, Pascal, Taylor and Kessler sure did. Andre Dirrell did avoid taking those type of shots.

    Taylor & Bute were stopped.

    Pascal & Kessler have cheen.

    Dirrell is a runner.

    Ward is a spoiler

    AA was hurt and I think Froch could have forced the TKO but was wary of AA's power.

    Before he stepped up Froch got loads of stoppages.

    All in all Froch has good power.

    I knew about mikkel kessler's chin before the froch fight. he isn't an A level defender and i've seen him take bombs before. It was interesting that green managed to shake him up though, that was a surprise.

    I think Kessler was a little rusty in that fight an he wasn't used to take bombs from an 175 pound fighter

    Froch is best when he has a stationary target to pummel. Like Bute or Abraham.

    Kessler would not have been able to take the punishment Bute did, but luckily for him he didn't have to because he was smart enough to use his legs.

    Bute doesn't have a weak chin just bad defence.
