For your Americans let me transfer the ticket costs in Europe from Euro into Dollar: buy the cheapest seat in the house in Germany: $30 do the same in Britain: pay at least $60 Boxing in Europe is far more expensive (if not for the real big fights) than in the US...

I can tell you one thing I admire from what I've seen of German shows that I wish America could follow up on some, is the great lights and light shows they have at the arenas. Also the crowds are very into it all. I was in awe at the UK's O2 Arena during the Haye/Macca fight. I would love to save the money to go see a big fight there someday too.
I have been to many fight cards in Germany. You are right in saying that they always put up a quite impressive show, but I cant really say that the fight crowds are very into it all. Quite the opposite I am always amazed that German fight arena are so extremely silence during the undercard fights. What a difference to the Czech Republic,Poland,Romania,Belarus,Englan or other european countries! Seldom do German fight fans support their own boys. By the way the best fight crowd are the Czechs. They always support their boy very loudly, but never react unfairly towards a foreign fighter if he beats their boy.
Love the lovely ladies they use for the string quartet when it's time the anthems, a lot more classy than the **** we see on PPV with wannabe stars who hugged airtime by making a two minute song a 30 minute rendition.
