    1. I ain't ducking ****, Floyd would lose, I'd watch it but I don't support it.
    2. I don't think he should hold the belts hostage, I've made a thread before that he should vacate because he's not taking contenders at 154.

Even if it was Peter Quillin lol doesn't matter who it is. If he does it then great but I don't think he can hang with anyone at 160. If he does, he'd be elusive all night.

Golovkin gets the publicity of beating May at a weight he's already a proven champ at, and May gets a legacy enhancing fight. Let's face it, there aren't many legacy enhancing fights out there for Floyd now, and at this stage of his career a win against a dominant middeweight would look exceptional.

I still have questions about Golovkin. I don't see it as a cherry pick by either fighter. It would be interesting to see Golovkin @ 154 to see how drained he really looks. But if he wants to fight Mayweather @ that weight he should boil down and fight someone noteworthy in the division before Mayweather otherwise he just sounds like another boxer looking for their biggest payday. Golovkin can look stiff and flat footed at times and is quite hittable but he puts good effective pressure on his opponents and has been beating what competition he has faced in the manner that he should if we are to believe his record is genuine and not just all easy touches set up by his promoters. Would they have been in the same weight class if there were only 8 divisions like back in the day before the corrupt boxing moguls invented 16 or 17 divisions so they could sell more "Championship" bouts? Probably not, but I don't think it would have been viewed as such a mismatch back then as it is now. In the end, win or lose, Mayweather would gain a lot of respect from his detractors if he were to take on Golovkin.

Floyd probably should vacate to free up the strap for some genuine JMWs.

I simply can't understand why this potential matchup keeps getting brought up though... it ain't happening anyway, it does nothing for FMJ and TBH I don't think it does much for Golovkin either (at least in legacy terms, though I expect he'd appreciate the payday and the exposure).

You'd love it because you want to see Floyd KO'd. To put things into perspective since you guys seem to think I'm scared for Floyd, I don't support the Pacquiao vs Dela Hoya fight either. I'd rather see Golovkin take a tune up at 154 first, if he looks healthy then I'm all for it. Right now though, I think he'd be drained at 154, and that'd be the excuse.

@ 154, I think Floyd will most likely win.
    @ 160, I think Floyd gets KO'd.

GGG would knock Mayweather out easy even at 154 ggg walks around at around 160-165 even if he carries half the power from 160 to 154 it would be a big problem for mayweather

Let's see him at 154 then. He isn't chasing Cotto or Canelo at 154 or 160 so right now him mentioning Floyd's name is for 2 things: publicity and a payday. You don't know what he walks around at, he's a lean middleweight but that doesn't mean he can cut 6 more lbs healthy. He's already lean at 160, 6 more lbs is muscle he's losing. If he loses muscle he loses power. Oscar fought healthy at 154 but was a damn corpse at 147. Think about that.
