If Golovkin is healthy at 154, then that's better because both fighters are comfortable. If not, it should be at 160. This is not a fight either fighter should be criticized for not taking.

yea i wanted to say 165 but canelo even weighs more then GGG and Mayweather fought him but then again canelo does not hit like a heavyweight canelo doesn't even hit hard for a welter

Glad to see you admit you were wrong, by a fairly hefty margin.

Floyd weighs 150 at these weigh ins
GGG weighs 165(and this was light for him) at these weigh ins.

...yeah, sounds like a legit fight

If Floyd fought a guy who was weighing 135 a month out, what do you think people would say?

do you know how much canelo weighs 1 month before fights?

and mayweather still fought him but the difference is canelo does not hit like a heavyweight

If Floyd was looking to fight a guy who weighed 135lbs a month out, what would you think of him?

And because Canelo is so heavy he fought him at 152. Canelo weighing more than Golovkin is water weight. Canelo from 154 to 174 is 20 lbs water weight. Golovkin from 160 to 168 is 8lbs water weight, with 6 lbs more muscle. Just because Canelo weighs more on fight night, doesn't necessarily mean he's bigger.

Personally Id think that Floyd was cherry picking in a most pathetic manner.

Much like I think GGG would be doing, fighting a guy so much smaller.

You guys just want to move the goalposts until PBF loses.

Then you'll claim he was never any good and you were right along. :patsch

    1. Mayweather - Golovkin is separated by a weight class while JMM- Mayweather was separated by two weight classes. Actually 3 if you considered that floyd was a previous champ at 154.

    2. Marquez moved up two weight divisions to make the fight. Golovkin will move down 1 division to fight floyd at a weight he is currently a champion.

    1. You're reaching on that one to further discredit Floyd. All the times he's fought at JMW, he's been a welter fighting a junior middle.

    2. I was putting Mayweather in Marquez's shoes. The fact you only focus on the negative towards Floyd says everything about your POV.

Marquez moved up 2 division to face Floyd and gets no credit for it, because he lost. Floyd moving up to fight Golovkin and losing would get absolutely no credit.
