is it not common knowledge that setanata went bust therfore he would have been fighting them for free? even a hater can see that a back problem this bad!!! would have forced anyone to pull out.

If he could beat one of the Klitchkos that'd be good. Honestly though I'd respect him if he just did more fighting and less talking, he has one fight in 12 months and hardly does any fighting in that, whereas his mouth is active 365 days a year. Vitali isn't massively exciting but he's fought 3 contenders in a year.

Im not a fan of Haye, to be honest i cant stand the bloke. BUT, i do respect his skills in the ring, but i dont like the bull**** that comes out of his mouth when all he has done is in his own words beaten the weakest heavyweight champion, yet he acts as thoughhe just wiped out George Foreman.

Plus to gain respect you have to be able to give it and be humble to a certain extent. Haye is just a complete and utter gobshite when he talks about the Klitschko's.

I dont see how people are blinded with pure man love for the guy, when his best wins have been over Valuev, Mormeck and Enzo Maccaranelli.

As for the question back up his bollocks and beat a Klitschko.

Not much, I did respect him and thought he was great to watch in cruiser.

The only thing is that since he's come to HW, he's talked the talk but so far he hasn't walked the walk. Barrett and Valuev is pretty poor so far IMO. If/When he fights the Klits or some good other opposition i'll be back to being a fan.

Stop running his chipmunk face off would be a good start.

Id like to see him get through ruiz and then face chavaeg. And if he still has the belt after chavaeg then either boystov or vlad. Then he'll have proven himself worthy.:smoke

Thanks for voting, everyone:good. Some interesting points have been brought up and I am pleasantly suprised at how many people voted for the first option. A lot of people also think that beating one Klitschko would be the necessary step in order to gain their respect and kudos. It has been pretty much a two-horse race between the first 2 options. Currently the results are:

32: Not much. He has unified Cruiser and is now a two weight World Champion.
30: Beat one of the Klitschkos.
6: Beat both of the Klitschkos.
1: This is a poor HW era and even if Haye does beat everyone out there, I could never give him props.

Don't compare that **** poor performance Haye put against a limited fighter like Valuev to a top performance like SRL against a bigger and very
    skilled Hagler.

And Haye would gain my respect if he steps in the ring with either K bro.

I can only assume that the people who criticise Haye’s performance against Valuev have never been in a boxing ring before.
If he went toe to toe with someone 100lbs heavier he would be pushed around like a child.
He employed the correct tactics on the night and got the win.

What's being a Brit got to do with it.
This guy is a Yank and confirmed as not liking David Haye at all.
