    1) Stay active, having three fights since November of 2007 is inexcusable
    2) Fight the Klitschko brothers, if you can't fight the Klitschko brothers than try to fight the up and coming HW's like Povetkin, Arreola, Boystov, Adamek and etc. If he can't get a fight with one of brothers in summer, a fight with Chris in the states would be perfect.
    3) Stop running your mouth. If Lewis was one of your idol's look at how he conducted himself as a champion; for most part Lewis spoke with his fists not with his mouth.

I can't understand people talking about him bringing "excitment" into the HW division. Did anyone find the Valuev fight exciting? Anyone at all....

Is that fight representative of Haye's career in any way?

I think if we can make any assumptions at all, it would be that he won't be fighting someone who outweighs him by 100lbs in every fight.

He won't outspeed and outclass them by such a margin either, while they will punch harder than Valuev despite his weight. It's not representative of Haye's career as a whole, but it does tell us something about his career at HW.

I respect what Haye did at cruiser, and that's also where he belongs if the fight against Valuev is "what he had to do" as many of his fans state.

So your saying that you would stand there and trade with a guy who is bigger and outweighs you like Valuev is compared to Haye?

Its great to see some sensible posters in this thread (even if we don't agree) rather than the usual cheerleading brigade. :)

Make and keep a fight with one of the Klitschkos. That'd be a good start.

Fighting Valuev isn't representative of anything. In all other divisions, weight classes mean that these fights don't take place. Valuev was 10% taller and about 45% heavier than Haye. In percentage terms it's equivalent to Manny Pacquiao fighting someone of the dimensions of Eddie Chambers.

I don't like the way he talks!
He should fight one of the Klitschkos, but I think it's going to be to tough for him...

when vitali hits 58???,,,i mean he has to beat one of the russian brothers or even both, because they are the closest to be unified champions, and we know they wont fight eachother....to me haye talks to much smack, thats ok if you would back it up,but it seems that HE is the only one backing up!!

wrong..........he could of done the same, but with a more active and entertaining manner, you can always use your hands and speed,in and out,but the way haye did it,specially with someone as slow as valuev.made it look like crap, heck,i even dare to say that valuev ruiz was better, and the sizes between them was also enormous:bbb!!

Ukraine and Russia share much of their history. [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kiev"]Kiev[/ame], the modern capital of Ukraine, is often referred to as a mother of Russian Cities, the largest part of Ukraine was integrated into the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_Empire"]Russian Empire[/ame], with the rest under Austro-Hungarian control.

Well, I was talking about excitinment in the HW division. All you hear is, the HW division needs excitment, he's had 2 fights at HW, so I'm going off that, the rest of his career doesn't count in regards to this argument. And I mean, unless you found the Monte Barrett fight exciting....to me that would be as if PBF stepped up to JMW again, fought Yuri Foreman, knocked him out, then fought Paul Williams, threw 12 punches a round and ran the rest of the time, and then people went around calling him the most exciting fighter in boxing. You know that wouldnt happen, so why all the love for Haye?

And btw, I'm comparing PW to Valuev in freakish height only. PW would be far more of a challenge to Floyd than Valuev was to Haye.
