Wonderfull team elite post, absolutely crammed full of irrefutable scientific facts :deal

Hopkins has never beaten an elite fighter at a fair weight his entire career :deal

deluded fanboys point to a win over former lightwelterweight trinidad, and a win against former super featherweight in ODLH

only delusional hopkins fanboys can fall for this bull****, hopkins then went on to call out former lightweight shane mosley :rofl

nothing hopkins does can surpass calzaghe, hopkins has only fought 2 elite fighters in his career and lost to both jones and calzaghe, taylor was bordering on elite when he fought hopkins and look what happened - hopkins got his ass kicked twice :deal

9 times now bernard has gotten in the ring and not been good enough to emerge victorious, there is a clear blueprint how to beat bernard, as long as you are fighting him at a fair weight :yep

Tough question/thread. I mean what can Hopkins do to top off glorious victories over Kessler, Lacy, Reid and Pudwill.

Well since Calzaghe would have beaten Taylor, ODLH, Tito, Tarver and DAWSON there's nothing Hopkins could do.

    Calzaghe > Hopkins.

I certainly watched Monzon, and did so while he was champion (I'm a geezer). One of the greatest fighters ever. I rank him number one as middleweight champion. What made you think (a) I'd never seen Monzon; and (b) that I'm denigrating him in any way?

What did Hopkins do at MW that was so much greater than Calzaghe at SMW? Lose to Jones?, Draw with Mercado, have a NC with Allen, lose to J Taylor twice. Hopkins biggest known MW victory was over a former WW who had only had 1 fight at MW and had been put down 7 times that I know of and looked lucky against Oscar

First of all, B Hop lost a SPLIT DECISION to Calzaghe and knocked him down that fight.. not to mention the better career.. the better opposition (Tito, Tarver, DLH, Pavlik, Pascal, Wright, Johnson, Joppy, Eastman, plus his loses came to Taylor, RJJ, and Calzaghe).. the guy has faced far superior opposition.. there are way more bigger names on his list than Calzaghe and he re won the light heavyweight title at the age of 46.. don't get me wrong, Joe is talented and would probably beat Hopkins h2h everytime but he hasn't accomplished as near as much.. if he didn't retire and beat down Pavlik, Dawson, Bute and others.. than maybe it would be an argument but on an ATG list, it would only make sense to put Hopkins ahead... my opinion

Hopkins beat up his oppositions better than Calzaghe during their reigns.

    Hopkins KO Trinidad
    Hopkins KO Oscar
    Hopkins KO Johnson
    Hopkins KO Jackson
    Hopkins KO Brown

Those are BHops top 5 KO wins at MW, all of them either Ex/future/reigning world Champions.

    Calzaghe KO Mitchell
    Calzaghe KO Woodhall
    Calzaghe KO Veit I
    Calzaghe KO Veit II
    Calzaghe KO Manfredo

2/5 are either Ex/future/reigning world champs.

Hopkins faced more title holders, more ex champs, more top 10 ranked opposition than Calzaghe did.

Super Joe beats Hopkins at any stage of their careers.
Calzaghe was near retirement when Calzaghe fought and beat Hopkins in Hopkins own country, Hopkins was 95% prime with his career best wins either side of losing to Super Joe, Calzaghe was virtually shot when he fought Hopkins and dont forget Hopkins agreed to fight Calzaghe back in the day, found out how good Joe was and then asked for double the money.

As regards who's the best its a known its Super Joe Calzaghe.

No I dont. Still if I did you would have 22 people schooling you, leaving you to resort to more childish insults
