    1. with one punch - KTFO one-punch KO
    2. with a series of punches - TKO
    3. liver/kidney shot

    :think

...and how do you feel afterwards, for the next couple of minutes?

I can't speak about headshots but I can tell you getting KO'd by a body blow feels like someone ripped your lungs out of yoru body and breathing is no longer possible

I got knocked out once with a hook to the jaw. It doesn't feel like anything really. One minute you feel the punch and the next you are standing back up. The weird thing is it feels like you fell down and got back up but meanwhile time has passed, like ten to twelve seconds, and you are dazed by trying to connect the missing time with the fact it feels like you were never out.

I've heard it described before as a bit like :

    1......2......3......45678...9...10!

Real slow, like underwater, then suddenly everything goes lightning quick, then your brain has finally caught up...but unfortunately, too late to beat the count.

The only time i got KOed was on the streets. One time i simply got KOed and was knocked unconscious and another time, i only saw white lights and went blank for a while until the guy stopped hitting me. My younger days of course. And no, i wasn't some thug. Just got into some stuff.

It's pretty painless at the instance of getting KTFO by one punch, it just lands and you black out dazed, conciousness regains slowly.

Getting TKO'd by a series of punches is painful, you'll likely have headaches by that time also. Impact, impact, impact and it's just like FLASH, FLASH, FLASH, unless you're out on your feet.

    You ears can ring also.

I've only been ko'd once and after about 10 seconds I woke up and felt really dizzy and confused for about 2 minutes then I felt fine. Strange 2 minutes though as I didn't think I was knocked out :!:

Yeah, TKO sounds the most painful as you are just getting your asskicked without the sleepy-night-night that a ko mercifully gives you. Even body blow ko gives you a breather unless a street fight in which case you're screwed.

this is a 2 part answer ....1 take a running start as fast you can duck your head and go straight for a brick wall and when you get up tell us how you feel...... 2 have a friend take a hammer and blast you in the kidney again tell us how you feel

Well, if we are talking about running into inanimate objects, I guess I've been Ko'd several times. But these hurt more as you get big bumps on your head and look funny. :|

I was ko'd back in football with a helmet to helmet hit. I don't remember anything. I was running with the ball and saw a guy get an angle on me. After that, I'm suddenly sitting on the bench and I stand up and ask how I got there? The coach laughed and said I got hit, got up, walked to the sideline and sat with a blank look on my face. He said I just sat there without saying a word for about ten minutes before I "woke up". Basically, it feels like lost time.
