I got hit a few times in the face with some great shots. I didn't get KO'd tho, never really did. I got a pretty hard head :)lol:) so it didn't really affect me much. This one time tho.... the kid was face to face with me about to go at it and a cheap shot he threw a mean punch at my stomach. I will admit right now, that punch hurt like a mother ****er. It sucked. I rather get hit in the face than in the stomach tbh with you.

As soon as he hit me, I didn't go down tho but it was a solid punch, I just nailed him in the face 2 times and he was on the floor.

But still that body shot was ****ing hurting.

Never been knocked out cold but have been hit by a shot i purely didn't see coming and it stunned me and my head took a few seconds to process the whole happening... It didn't hurt it just woke me up and shook me . I was wide awake and super alert actuall... But the shot was very heavy that it broke off a back tooth and i swallowed it.. I was dropped once but it was accumulation of head shots i kinda sought refuge on one knee... best advice i can give in many respects is .. Don't try to be too brave if you can't cope with heavy weather..... take the knee and have that little second to collect your momentum..

I don't know. It wasn't bad when I was wearing a football helmet. Coach said I was knocked out so I'll take his word for it. Next time you stand up suddenly and find you were under a low shelf, think of the boxer though. ;)

There was a time I was sparring Harry Arroyo. He was working on his defense. I backed him into the corner and caught solidly with a three punch combo. He dropped his hands, said nice shots and unloaded a nine-punch barrage on me. First, and only time I have ever seen stars.

getting KO'd is pretty much like fainting, only more sudden, more shocking. It doesn't hurt; you basically don't feel anything at that moment, though you might have a bit of a headache the day after.
I went down on a bodyshot once, when i was pretty new to boxing and not in great shape, and that was some god-awful shiznit. It has a delayed reaction; the blood gets beaten out of your liver, and as it sinks back in you just double over, and you're basically paralyzed.

I have no clue but I've been punched in my jaw so hard that both jaws hurt for a week. I'm not a boxer either so I'm talking about bare knuckles.

Never been Koed but stunned badly and saw stars. Body shots hurt way more than shots to the head.

The consensus seems to be that body shots are the worst in terms of pain. Does it pretty much feel like you can't breath? I had that feeling once when i feel down, back first, from a tree about 8 feet. I was paralyzed for about 30 seconds and just couldn't breath. I thought i was going to die.

Are body shots painful or are they so bad because you can't breath? Or both?

My brother gave me a kidney punch one time. It was nasty but I didn't flinch and show that I was hurt. If he'd hit me with a little more force I might have gone down, and also he was drunk. Still hurt like crazy.

    1. not bad actually....my whole body had a tingling sensation and the ref stopped it.
    2. Lots of pain, prolonged punishment, ref sees it and stops it.

they drain you, take your legs away. Your legs start feeling heavy and it takes you away from your gameplan.

I´ve been out cold on my feet once. That was kinda bizarre because I just lost conciousness and woke up still on my feet with no idea of how much time had passed.
It didn´t hurt straight away, but afterwards I could certainly feel it.

yep. if he'd had hit you with force you would have gone down if he nailed you on the button.

body punches hurt you immediately and hang on a while too.

getting floored with a head shot is completely different and more about regaining your senses than feeling genuine pain.

I'm not a boxer so I don't have the experience on these kind of KOs you've mentioned . . . but I did experienced being KOed when I hit the rail of the skating rink head first while I was skating . . . damn . . . my knees buckled down and I can't stand for over 4 minutes and I thought I lost my eye sight because all I can see is black for about 15 seconds.

    :D
