Title says it all... I don't remember anyone having troubles negotiating with K2 and this fight with Ruslan got signed and made quickly. There were endless problems and delay's with Haye.. what does that tell us?

That David Haye was only trying to cash in from the beginning.

That team Klit were very scared and went out of their way to not make the fight happen but had to in the end to save face.

    We can infer many things:

-Klitschko tried his best not to make the Haye fight happen.
    -Haye is unreasonable negotiator.
-Haye tried his best not to make the Klitschko fight happen
    -Klitschko is an unreasonable negotiator.
    -Chagaev is easy at negotiaing.

It's all speculation. Can't take much from it.

    IT says nothing..

Chagaev came in as a replacement and he was thankful that he even got the opportunity to fight Wlad.. He had no choice but to jump all over the fight.. He was in no position to negotiate ****.

So... Wladimir Klitschko, in an effort to avoid fighting David Haye, extended an offer to fight Haye in Haye's own backyard... even though Haye wasn't even close to being a mandatory challenger.... and then when Haye couldn't secure his own venue, Wlad took the entire promotion of the fight onto his shoulders... kicked out ALL of the money needed to get this fight going, secure the venue, advertisements, promotional tour, ect.... and kept working day in and day out to work out a deal that David Haye would agree to.... THEN... goes through an entire training camp... at which point Haye pulls out..... All of this was an effort by Wlad to go out of his way to not make this fight happen?

    Wow.

    Nothing.
And you've forgotten about Povetkin. They could fight more than a year ago, but then K2 arranged Ibragimov unification fight, than Thompson defense. And it ended also with an injury.

That seems unlikely with how easily the Chag fight came together. Unless you tie it to the first point. Given that Wlad was in no way obliged to fight Haye, the first point also seems wrong.

The most likely deduction is that Haye is not good to negotiate with. Or that fights between champions and nobodies are harder to negotiate.

Don't forget how long it took him to get a fight signed after the Maccarinelli fight. Monte Barrett got signed only after Haye went through like 2-3 fighters that wouldn't agree to terms and negotiations failed. And he promised then it would be a top 10 contender.

Klitschko wanted the fight in late April or May, that's a fact. Haye DEMANDED the fight be in June 20.

It says nothing. Most fights can't be made on that kind of notice.

The fight was scheduled for June before Wladimir was even involved in it. Originally it was announced by Bernd Boente that Haye would fight Vitali and that the fight would take place in June. That was back last Decemeber. Go check it out.

Exactly. If Haye hadn't pulled out, he would have gotten knocked out cold by that punch Wlad landed on Chagaev in the second.:yep
