What does it say about Pavlik's heart when all the other MW/SMW are fighting but him?

What poster from Youngstown claimed Pavlik has a drinking problem? The answer is NONE, ya dumb ****! The accusation was made by that dip**** from Ring Talk.Com, and refuted by BY EVERY ****ING MEMBER of Team Pavlik. It was also refuted by the fact that Kelly Pavlik made numerous public appearances, and did at least two interviews during that time period. If you bothered to READ and do a little research intead of just spouting off with your self righteous and assinine opinions, you would know that Pavlik is spending the summer at home with his wife, daughter, and new born son. You would also know that Kelly's lawyer jumped on that **** the very day the moron from RingTalk started the rumour! Ya ****ing idiot!

Fighting an unknown for a title Calzaghe vacated. He didn't touch the top guys in the division before winning that; so, he was hardly the legit world championship.

 

Oh my. Your whole post was pretty bad, but this part really takes the biscuit. Please do enlighten us as to how Gary Lockett had 'beaten off half the division'. I look forward to learning previously untold things about the mighty Kai Kauramaki (10 defeats in the 14 fights before fighting Lockett), Lee Blundell and Ayitey Powers.

 

Not really his fault who the WBC put up against him for the title. Especially considering Taylor was number one contender but decided to avoid fighting for the title but instead fight an eliminator for the same title shot...

 

That unknown went on to smash the WBC champ at 175. Says a lot about that unknown and therefore Froch's win over said unknown.

 

Am I missing something or did KP fight a mandatory in Feb.? Jesus Christ it's not like he's disappeared forever! His contract pre-Mora was set to expire and he decided that getting that done was more important than a lopsided victory. He just had a son and was looking long term!
Whatever you say about Sturm he is one of the world title holders that KP wants. We all know now Arum had the fight made til HBO low balled him! AA can say what he wants and if he wants KP bad enough it will happen.
I believe it was said 1,000 times after Hopkins Kelly is a MW now- no more weight jumping until he's fully ready! So SMW like Kessler, Froch etc. are in the distance- So other than the previous mentioned MW (both of which are being discussed) what is the kid to do? I'll leave it to all our ESB boxing experts to answer!

I am asking quastion, not stating opinions and I there was a poster here on ESB who sounded credible who claimed to be from Youngstown and actually liked Pavlik. I have done my research since I was turned into a Pavlik fan when he beat Miranda and Taylor. There was an incident of Pavlik beating up a police officer and while that was years ago, if someone has some destructive aspect in theri personality, it is likely to show up again. A simple statement of denial from a lawyer is no more believable to me something a journalist writes. If you have actual links to Pavlik's public appearance, please post them.

Doesn't Pavlik's career show signs of being badly managed? The decision to fight Hopkins was a fiasko, the excuses after the loss, Kelly claiming that Hopkins isn't crafty, sound like bad case of denial. Which doesn't help to mentally overcome a severe loss and come back stronger.

 

This time next year everybody will still be argueing about this same ****.

I doubt he fights again this year.

 

Don't give Pavlik this **** he's okay, I hate when a fighter is accused for this and that, Pavlik is a good fighter. ( Kessler would still beat him imo. ) ;-)

 

I hope Pavlik comes back with the same determination he had before the first Taylor fight.

dreaming...dreaming?? about what?? re-read the last paragraph of my post and then tell me how this isnt a sure-fire way to get a fight w/ pav?? my point isnt about money or what is right and what isnt. now re-read that last sentence. read it again. now tell me how the fight doesnt happen if aa becomes the mandatory. i don't want to hear about money and what is right and what isnt and what aa shouldnt or should have to do or who is scared of who. all im doing is asking a very simple question no one can seem to answer...just enlighten me as to how a fight between aa and pav doesnt happen if aa becomes the mandatory. that is all.
