Hope that Pavlik moves up to SMW..and that he can maintain 160 lbs..and that he has enough left (after 2 KO loses to go along side the 3 decision loses (B-Hop and Winky) that he should already have as well!)...in the tank to stay atop a weak MW division!

Taylor turned me into a fan by fighting as hard as he did against Pavlik. I was rooting for Kelly as everyone knows, but damn, JT fought like a true warrior. He made serious mistakes obviously, and that is something you can not do against Pavlik. As far as losing to Kelly a second time; the writing is on the wall. There is no way in hell he wins this. I am very disappointed by his decision to exersize the immediate rematch option. If Ozell Nelson is such a great guy and good freind why the **** didn't Ozell put JT in check, and steer him in the right direction? Taylor should have moved to 168 and fought a couple "B" level guys to get his mind right. Then go after a title. If he won a title at 168, that would set up a HUGE rematch between him and Kelly. Plus, a few more fights would at least give him the chance to correct the flaws and bad habits that got him KTFO. As it stands he is going to have to work his way back up from a rating somewhere in the high 20's after the second loss to Pav, and that won't be easy for a guy who is already 30 years old.

i still have memories of taylor being backed up by small light middleweights despite dwarfing them.

calzaghe/kessler/bute/green/berrio/froch/andrade/tyspsko/bika etc etc are all jermains size or bigger

Buy a yacht, so they (Ozell) can sail off into the sunset.

He could move up to 168 and get eaten by Kessler?

Ozzel Nelson take him to lay bricks in Little Rock? Jermain should never have agreed to fight Kelly so soon but in case he loses by decision and gives a good account of himself, Taylor may have to travel outside the US to rebuild his career or get into slug fests with the likes of Miranda, Lacy, Green for lil money and no titles at stake...

This fight is at 166. If he loses it's not the end the world, all you need is a couple of good wins then your right back in the mix. 168 would be better for him in this point of time.

The guy did almost take kelly pavlik out who is being hailed as the next great thing. he is not as bad as he is made out to be. He could move up in weight and earn a couple of wins and be in the running for a belt. everyone of significance has a loss at smw except for calzaghe. i mean miranda has two losses yet no one calls him a lost cause. yeah taylor got some nods because who he worked for but who hasnt in close fights?

by the way he only loss in one other match and that was to winky.

    just my opinion
