Don't you think that he'll be accused of ducking Pavlik if he does that?...but then again, if he doesn't do that, and goes for Pavlik, he'l be ducking Dawson.....Tarver, Jones...etc..etc.
I know this bunch of haters on here...he'll never be accepted by them no matter what:-(

If he beats RJJ and remains undefeated he should make his claim to being a two divisional champ by fighting for a legit belt . . . and I think he'll be okay with that HOF thing.

I dont know about the Jones fight doing nothing legacy wise, it can always be called upon as a name beaten. Past his best yes, past joes best also.

Dont get me wrong I think prime for prime jones wins but if calzaghe beats him comprehensively / KO, it could add weight to the prime vs prime argument if it was a bad beating.

I think he beats Jones, Pavlik after these two he could be beaten by dawson if he continues on an upward curve. Tarver would be best for him if there was a 3rd fight.

beating Roy and then achieving p4p no.1 would definitely get him in.

He's in, and if he goes Spinks vs. Tyson, he's still in.

He has been HOF bound for a while, I thought he was in before Kessler. Kessler cemented it, Hops moved him up a couple more spots in the ATG rank.

    He is clearly already HOF.

He is now adding a win over ATG Hopkins to unifications with Lacey and Kessler, notable wins over Eubank, Charles Brewer and Robin Reid, and a few other notables like Mario Veit, Richie Woodhall, Byron Mitchell, etc. Of course, he is undefeated and the longest reighning champion in boxing.

Persoanlly, I am glad that the Jones fight is coming off, and would like to see him fight only established guys like Tarver. He already beat two young lions in Lacey and Kessler, and got no credit from the same guys who were touting these two to beat him. Why fight these young lions when the same folks singing their praises turn around and say "well, they weren't that good in the first place," when he finishes them.

When he dominates Pavlik, everyone is going to turn around and say that Pavlik almost got knocked out by light hitting Taylor.

Just fight Jones, and Tarver, an whoever else has a name, and call it a career.
